What have you done with your life?

He was second in a family of three boys. He grew up in Orem, Utah; he attended Orem High,  played football and wrestled. At 26-years old, he served in the Canada Halifax Mission and learned how to be careful after an all night freezing rain.

After serving his mission, his high school sweetheart agreed to marry him. (Some thought it was a big mistake on her part). Eleven-years later, their only daughter came into their lives. It has been like a game show, constantly being forced to see what was behind door number four, and being excited with what they found, no matter what it was.

The Fishers are a family that does everything together and that includes a Dutch Oven cooking hobby. They started competing in Dutch oven cook offs several years ago, taking first place in many of them. It culminated in winning Grand Champion status at the 2005 International Dutch Oven Society-World Championship Dutch Oven Cook off. His wife is proud of their accomplishments and Keith is proud of her.

Keith began to write fiction about fifteen years ago, when he discovered a great way to relieve stress. He escaped with his computer and began to use his life experiences to tell stories. He has found joy in helping his characters learn the lessons they must learn, and Keith claims to learn a little from them too.

In life, he has been a carpenter, milwright, truck driver, studied to be an architect, and he even managed a bar.  "All of these things shall give thee experience and shall be for thy good." D&C 122: 7. At least it has been good fiction fodder.

Keith didn't always have a love of writing. In fact, there was a time when he avoided it. So he has been re-learning lessons from high school and learning from the masters (his writer friends).

Keith has embarked on a journey in the pages of his books and asks, "won't you come along?"
